Speak.Up is not your standard  language school, we really do put our students and staff first and we do our best to look after each person individually and give everyone the best service possible. 

Speak.Up School of English opened its doors to students for the first time in 2010. It’s a product of my true passion for teaching and learning and a strong belief that I can build a brand that stands out, where people and education really do matter the most. Speak.Up is a very special place, where everyone who comes through our doors is welcomed into our friendly and supportive school community.

I feel extremely lucky to be part of a marvellous team and work within a multicultural environment. What I love most about teaching English is that it gives students a voice and gives them the ability to engage with others around them.  I love planning and preparing enjoyable lessons whilst all the time keeping the students’ best interest in mind.  I feel passionate about creating a warm and friendly atmosphere in my classes because I believe this provides a positive learning environment.

I like teaching at Speak Up because I can get many individuals into the mindset of learning more, sharing ideas and wanting to find new ways of doing things creatively. I like to inspire and get the best out of my students, teaching them about British culture and local ways of living. In my free time I enjoy running and swimming.

I'm Marina. I worked as an interpreter and lived in 4 countries before settling down in England. I love travelling the world. I teach English because I love to learn about other cultures and traditional recipes. I'm a big foodie.
