COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Functional Skills English course helps you improve your communication skills for work and daily life. You will learn important speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills to use in real situations.

This course was created to meet job market needs and government requirements, helping you develop practical English skills that employers value. You will learn how to apply your knowledge in everyday conversations, the workplace, and other real-world situations.

At the end of the course, you will receive a nationally recognised certificate based on your level. This will give you the confidence and ability to use English in both professional and personal settings.

COURSE CONTENT

The course is divided into three modules, each with its own assessment. All tasks are based on real-life situations, helping you practice English for work and daily life. You will also learn presentation skills and improve your grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

The three modules:

✅ Reading – Understand and respond to different types of text.

✅ Writing – Express your ideas clearly using your own words.

✅ Speaking and Listening – Take part in discussions, share your opinions, and present ideas to a small group.

This practical approach makes learning easier and more useful for everyday situations.

Having good math skills can make both your personal and professional life much easier. Our Maths Functional Skills course gives you the practical math skills you need to feel confident in everyday situations, both at work and at home. You will learn the important math knowledge and skills that are useful in real life.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Maths Functional Skills course is designed to help you apply math skills in real-life situations, making you more confident and capable in both work and daily life. It meets the needs of employers and government goals to improve the workforce.

The course focuses on practical skills that can be used in many areas, including problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and presentation. These skills are helpful in school, work, and everyday life.

At the end of the course, you will receive a nationally recognised certificate based on your level. This certificate will help you feel confident in using math both in your job and in your personal life.

This course covers:

✅ Working with Numbers: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

✅ Fractions, Decimals, Percentages, and Ratios

✅ Common Measures: money, time, length, weight, and capacity.

✅ Shape and Space: reading charts, tables, and graphs.

The course focuses on three main skills:

✅ Representing: Identifying problems and choosing the right math to solve them.

✅ Analysing: Using math to solve problems and checking your answers.

✅ Interpretation: Understanding the results and explaining your findings.
